KAIROS Plato said: when a new idea is born in a person's head, a light brighter than any sun is visible from space. This project tells about my three-year journey-transformation, about the change of reference points, goals and ideas. The idea gives birth to an image, the image nds itself in the material and then begins to live independently, creating its own communication elds, becoming a thing. I like to observe this process, play in this phenomenological sandbox and contribute to the birth of things in reality, despite the statement... Douglas Webler Each image, each composition is a documentation of images of reection, external and internal, supported by research in the eld of alchemy and with an aftertaste of Carrara's rough causality, direct correlation of the image with its source. Many opposites merge in the synthesis of these statements: poetry and literalness, volume and plane, gurative and abstract, color and achromaticity, brilliance and darkness. However, this is a dry and unemotional residue, carefully weighed and packaged in boxes with iridescent labels. These are artifacts of the recent past, dried tears and petried smiles, displayed behind a glass case. Their value is in the reference, in the reminder, in the reection of the present moment, alive and real, in the possibility of no longer living, but realizing the experience of the lived, as well as in the possibility of reducing this experience to formulas of new knowledge. I also use images of sculptures from dierent eras and authors as found objects, thus transferring the dialogue to the space of Culture 2.0. Why are these formulas needed in the context of speculative realism and current virtualistics? Are they foundation bricks, having climbed on which, we can build further? Build what? No, let's abandon these anthropocentric concepts. We are simply needed by the cosmos, our rapports are needed by the cosmos. Siamo utili nel cosmo.
